On behalf of the entire Town Board, I am pleased to welcome you to the Town of Islips website. The website has been designed as an informational guide to various departments and facilities within the Town. Here, you can find information on recreational pursuits, such as pools, parks, marinas, beaches and seasonal programs. You can also find applications, brochures and forms, as well as news items, events and a directory for offices and elected officials.

It is our hope that this website will provide visitors with an initial glimpse into the makeup of Islip Town. Then, after browsing the site, you may be tempted not only to visit, but to move to this waterfront community of more than 300,000 residents, with nearly 30 hamlets and incorporated villages on Fire Island and the mainland. Our government departments stand ready to welcome you and to provide residents with superior services and programs to meet the growing needs of this diverse population.
